I recently had two rooms and a hallway painted and a bit of carpentry work done by Heiler. I could not have been more pleased. The painters did an amazing job. They were nice, professional, punctual (arriving actually earlier than I'd expected), neat and clean, conscientious, took obvious pride in their work. My walls and ceilings that were being painted had some damage so the job included repair of those and sanding and preparation for painting. The painters did an EXCELLENT job on those. The walls and ceiling look brand new. The carpentry work that was done was to the same level of perfection as the painting; everything was perfect.

This is our third home painting project with Heiler and we keep coming back because of the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. Rick and his team did an outstanding job. They were courteous, respectful, accommodating and took the extra time to review progress along with way with us. We were especially impressed wit the quality of the preparation work on the walls, (which needed help yet could easily be rushed through or ignored by others), as well the effort they put into cleaning up afterwards each day. Because of this, and their attention to detail and steady hands, our upstairs rooms look fantastic! One of the two workers had not been vaccinated and did not volunteer that information.Dust was everywhere as no suction was used to keep it from spreading throughout the entire house.Repairs of cracks and imperfections on the surfaces was not done as I had specifically requested.Primer was not used which necessitated the purchase of another $60 gallon of paint.Finally, after listing this information in an email to the company, the only response I got was a bill for the balance due. Very unprofessional.

So nice we did it twice! Heiler painting did such a wonderful job with our interior painting that we had them come out and repair and paint our brick chimney. From the beginning, Tom came out quickly and was easy to schedule for an estimate. Very communicative and helpful, gave us multiple options and explained the benefits and drawbacks of each. His quote was sent quickly and one of the most professional and comprehensive quotes I've ever received. Once we agreed on the work to be done, again, scheduling was quick and easy. The crew that came out, Mikey, Dennis, Montreal, and Steve were extremely nice guys, very professional, and just genuinely one of the best work crew experiences I've had. They worked quickly and did GOOD work, which in the city can be tough to find. I will definitely be utilizing them again and be recommending them to friends and family.

Rick and his team did an excellent job painting our office, bedroom (including drywall repair), and stairway in the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. They were very professional and finished the job a full day earlier than expected. Rick was also kind enough to return a few days later and do a walkthrough of any final/minor touch ups in each room. Heiler painting went above and beyond! Tom gave me an estimate two days after I called. The estimate was reasonable and fair based on other services in the area. Mike and his team started three days later. They came on time, worked full days and left my house each night in a livable condition until they came back the next day. Mike, Nick and the other workers were personable, friendly and considerate. Masks were worn the entire time. I could not be happier with the way my house came out! The colors are spectacular (Tom helped and recommended colors and I am so happy I went with his choices)! Overall it was an amazing experience and I wish I had more rooms left to paint! I will definitely be calling them again when I decide to paint the trim and put up crown molding. You cannot go wrong by hiring Heiler painting! Amazing service and you will not be disappointed!

I contacted them for a quote on 9/02/20. Immediately received an email verification that I would be hearing from them. Two weeks passed, so I chatted online asking what was a reasonable amount of time before hearing from them. I was assured that it had been a mistake and I would hear the following week asap. That's fine; I was happy- I gave them my information all over again. Today is 10/09. I have heard nothing. Pretty poor business practice. It must be wonderful to have so much business that you can ignore inquiries. I guess common courtesy isn't part of their business model.

After calling twice, never got a response back for an estimate on painting our house. Will stick to calling on larger more customer friendly company that is looking for work. Update on this review. Our older home needed a full exterior paint job. We got several estimates including from Heiler. Their price was competitive and we liked the idea of working with a local family-owned business.They assisted us in picking colors and did a great job. The crew worked long days and cleaned up after themselves.Everyone who walks by stops to compliment the work. We are very happy.Revised as of 9/18: I had to drop from 5 to 3 stars because they agreed to replace some old window sills and then never followed through. I was promised that they would call with a date and nothing. I texted and called several times over a month and no reply. If you can't do the work anymore just tell me. I have no time and no respect for businesses who ghost.Update as of 12/6. I am pleased to say that the issue has been resolved. Tom Heiler, the owner, got personally involved and ensured that things were finally taken care of. Overall the quality of the work is of such quality that I can excuse the earlier issues. Raised up to 4 stars

We had Heiler paint the first story of our townhome. It’s 5 years old, still had the builders paint, and has numerous patches and imperfections that needed to be repaired. When Chris came to give us an estimate, he has excellent attention to detail and noticed things we hadn’t seen in the two years we’d been living here. When Rick and Steve came out, they did a great job. Every morning they would always ask if we had any concerns and if we noticed any places they missed. I’ll admit I was probably a little picky, but they assured me they’d get it done right. After they were finished, I noticed a few places that could use a little touch up and Rick came right out to fix it. I would definitely recommend Heiler and we plan to use them to paint the rest of our home as well.

I highly recommend Heiler Painting for any paint project (indoor or outdoor) that you may have. I cannot even express how easy it was to work with Tom Heiler and his team. They truly listen to the customer! First, they were very responsive when we requested a quote. The price was a bit higher than others who quoted, but immediately I could tell that this wouldn't just be any other paint job--they had an eye to fix dents and issues in the wall from the house settling and to paint everything seamlessly. I truly say this that you get what you pay for so never trust a price that seems too low. In addition, Tom Heiler sent in a team managed by Diego. They were incredibly respectful and timely! I have worked with so many other companies and they never are timely (showing up late and finishing a project later than expected). Diego was very responsive giving us updates daily via text. His crew was incredible. The team painted our entire 2500 square foot house including numerous accent walls / ceiling / trim and finished the job within 5 days---incredible! Attention to detail is key as Tom and his team noticed one of the walls wasn't painted the right color so they informed us and painted it as it was supposed to be! A real honest and genuine team. After considering many options, I hired Heiler Painting to paint all of the exterior window trim and shutters for our 100 year old stone house in Mount Airy. They hadn't been done in many years and needed a lot of prep (scraping, sanding and even some restoration). It was a fairly big project that was estimated to take 3 weeks.Tom Heiler's crew did a great job. His painters were professional, courteous, clean and thorough. They were flexible and patient when we asked for some last minute changes and even finished the work ahead of schedule. Tom is amazing! We bought our place and had a tight timeline for painting. He came out that day, gave us a quote, moved a few things around, and his painters came through two days later. It took five days from quote to finish!! Now that we see the meticulous care they put into sanding the walls, patching up uneven surfaces, and painting multiple coats, we laugh at the thought that we were going to paint ourselves! He was also helpful with selecting a color.

I have worked at Heiler painting for 6 years. They are hands down the best company I have ever worked for. They treat their employees as if they were their own family. They have the utmost respect for customers and their properties that I have ever seen. In early April, Heiler came out to give us an estimate to power wash and paint the side of our house. The price was good so on April 3rd we put down a deposit. They were going to call us with a date. Three weeks later, after several calls to the office our call was returned. The first opening they have for painting is August. He went on to explain that he had bigger jobs utilizing the entire crew. This is totally unacceptable. He waited to see what other jobs there were and then because our job was smaller put us at the back of the line. We got the deposit back and will use someone who is honest and dependable.

My neighbor and I used Heiler painting, they for the outside and me for the interior. They were prompt, quick, courteous and neat. My bedroom, hallway, stairwell, living room, dining room and kitchen were painted in 5 days (would have been finished sooner if not for that February snowstorm). They moved all of the furniture and artwork mirrors etc and moved it back. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Heailer painting is great! We had a wonderful experience with their crew painting the whole interior of our new house. They were quick, very professional, and did a great job! Heiler Painting was great to deal with, They are professional and make sure their clients are happy with their work.My project was started by another painting contractor, who did a poor job and left it incomplete. Heiler painting corrected and completed my project.I can't say enough at how pleased I am with the whole Heiler experience, from the evaluation walk thru to the actual work. The two painters, Derrick and Rob were great. They worked all day and were able to complete all the work.

Outstanding service and communication. Carpentry repair work done prior to painting was great and there was meticulous attention to detail. I recently hired Heiler painting to paint my recently purchased townhouse and couldn't be happier! Apostoli came out to give me an estimate and was very thorough and payed close attention to detail with what was needed. The estimate was very reasonable and they were very flexible with the time frame that everything needed to be completed by which was a bonus! Elias and Alberto arrived on time and spackled, sanded, prepped and painted my entrance way, dining room, cathedral cieling, living room and the entire upstairs. Their skill level that they both had was beyond extraordinary. Besides doing an amazing job, they were friendly, clean, professional and I would definitely recommend and use Heiler Painting again! Tom and his team has done a great job on a couple of projects at our house. We first had work done on our front and back porches. Tom did a great job of meeting with us, listening to our concerns and wishes, and communicating effectively throughout the process. We were very pleased with the result, though some of the wood that had been replaced on the front porch began to buckle a few weeks after installation. Tom was great about making sure that it was replaced in a timely manner.We also used Heiler Painting to complete some interior painting. Again, Tom was great about communicating and making sure that all of our needs were met. His painter was neat, communicated well, and did a great job.I would definitely recommend Heiler Painting. Tom is great to work with -- communicates extremely well and is very easy to work with.

Exterior painting project completed -- amazingly -- on time with winter coming and within budget. Tom takes special care with communications, so he wastes no time or money correcting avoidable errors. I got daily updates and briefings on next part of the project. His people are trained, competent, reliable, and skilled. No drama, no surprises, except that there are no drama and no surprises. Tom makes good recommendations about colors. Warmly recommend.And a bonus: Tom and his crew know old houses and EPA requirements regarding safe lead paint removal. (No orbital sanders or power washing!) That's incredibly important if you have kids, a garden, or you just want to keep lead out of the soil and water table and yourself out of court. His carpenter is a perfectionist. My house looks great and my soil is once again safe. He charges the same as the bad actors who cut corners on safety. Go with Tom. He's the best.

I've had two great experiences with Tom's company. He painted my first floor ceiling and recently finished up a large stucco painting project. I recommend Heiler Painting, LLC to those seeking a professional painting job at a competitive rate. Tom Heiler offers a range of services to help those readying a property for the market, including trash removal, dry-wall patching, carpentry, fixture installation. He's an excellent and reliable communicator and truly concerned about customer satisfaction. He offered suggestions for options to help keep the scope of work to a minimum to meet a tight budget. And he understood my intentions and executed the job (even beyond the original scope) without any changes to his proposal bid $. The only issues concerned a bit of project scheduling creep, but in the end, I am quite satisfied and would surely hire him again. I've suggested my realtor keep his contact info handy, since he was so helpful to me.
